About

A Song For You Initiative
Since summer of 2020

A Song For You has sent more than 200 original & cover songs to patients in hospitals and hospices

In response to COVID-19, Singer/Songwriter Emily Cavanagh launched A Song For You… writing & recording songs (both personalized original songs and cover songs) to patients and families hit hardest by Covid, primarily those at the end of life in hospitals and hospices across the country.  What began as a small initiative has grown beyond the pandemic into its own 501(c)(3) Non-profit in NYC, specializing in writing songs for patients in hospice.
